March 2011 Workshop

Details: Travel the World this Spring Break! Each day will be dedicated to a global region & culture. Your child will learn the rich history behind these cultures & then create their own masterpieces!

Day 1: Africa: Tribal Body Decorating & Mask Making
Day 2: China, Japan, & Korea: Calligraphy Scrolls, Spoon Dolls, & Paper Fans
Day 3: Indonesia & Viet Nam: Paper Batik & Moon Lanterns
Day 4: Central & South America: Aztec Self-Portrait Stone
Day 5: Children’s Art Show: March 18th: 5-7pm
Family & Friends Welcome! Come view the artwork of your Young Picasso!

Where: Your child will have the opportunity to learn & create in a real Art Studio, where he/she will be inspired to express & create freely. Class sizes are kept small to ensure that your child receives individual attention & has a truly enriching experience. No prior art experience is necessary. Just a free spirit!

Why: Your child will gain the skills, knowledge, & confidence to create truly personal expressions of him/herself without judgment. It is our goal to inspire a lifetime of creativity.
